David Kopp has been in marketing and advertising his entire life – on the advertiser side as a marketer at Walt Disney to the media side in his current role leading North American Ad Products for Yahoo!, where he is responsible for many of the ad products which attempt to bridge and connect online advertising with traditional media. Along the way, he’s done everything from distributing advertising-supported city guides as child to funding his college education selling advertising for the world’s leading budget travel guides to guiding the product teams that built one of the first online advertising management systems at AdForce in the early days of Web advertising.
