Habitat for Humanity is an impressive organization -- not only does it provide low-income housing, it gives homeowners more confidence and respect for themselves and their neighborhoods. More than Houses is comprised of hundreds of little vignettes from the worldwide ministry of Habitat. All are inspiring, though after the first half of the book, they do begin to all sound a bit similar. I'd definitely recommend reading a few of the chapters to get a flavor for the incredible positive effects of this organization.
