I think the graphic says it all. I'll be on a panel discussion titled: Social Or Anti-Social? The Next Generation of Online Display Ads. This is an important topic for brand marketers. I doubt my conclusion will surprise anyone -- ads need to be more social! -- but there are many dimensions to the "social-ness" that is possible with online ads and I expect this will be a great exploration of everything from dynamic ads that recognize influencers (from followers) and tailor messages to them; to making ads more viral; to adding a social element to your creatives to improve engagement.
